Kyu Mun Lee is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is criminal defense.
He is a seasoned investigation expert with over 35 years of experience at the National Police Agency, specializing in investigation and leadership. Throughout his career, he has taken on various roles, ranging from field investigations to strategic command. As the lead investigator for major criminal cases, he has successfully resolved key cases and pioneered the introduction of innovative investigative techniques, such as communication tracking and inter-police station coordination.
During his tenure as the Commissioner of the Busan Metropolitan Police, he actively promoted the strengthening of the responsibility-based investigation system and the establishment of the local police system. He also focused on improving citizens' sense of safety and addressing crimes that impact people's livelihoods, which helped enhance trust in law enforcement within the community.
