Jae Young Kim is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC. His main practice areas are antitrust and competition.
Mr. Kim has extensive experience in representing multinational companies in international and domestic cartel cases, e.g. for condensers, auto-parts, commercial vehicles, foreign exchange, TFT-LCD, CDT, air charge, and marine hose, etc. Mr. Kim handled the domestic administrative litigation and class action in the United States with respect to cartels for instant noodle. He has represented major clients such as Qualcomm, Yahoo, Samsung, LG, CJ and POSCO in a wide range of issues including market dominance, unfair trading practices, and business combination, etc. He successfully supported restructuring and disposition after split-off of Kohap, the first workout company in Korea, and Cheil Industries’ M&A with an Italian luxury brand and execution of license agreements with multiple foreign companies.
