Hye Jin Hwang is a partner at Yoon & Yang. Her main practice areas are disputes in the field of finance, securities and insurance, and she also handles a diverse array of matters of M&A and general corporate management activities.
Ms. Hwang advises on a diverse array of legal disputes and issues related to the Financial Consumer Protection Act, including class & group actions on securities, claims for damages under the Capital Markets Act such as claims for damages from disclosure violations, securities, disputes on funds and KIKO derivatives, criminal matters on price manipulation and fraudulent illegal transactions, and voluntary compensation. In addition, she represents clients insurance litigation, such as export insurance, insurance benefit disputes, insurance agent disputes, real estate development litigation, and short sale litigation. She also handles a wide range of corporate legal affairs as well as financial institution advisory matters, including due diligence for M&A, contract negotiation, and financial institution regulations matters.
