Biography
Duk Joong Kim is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is the national tax system and relevant administrative matters.
While serving in various positions of the National Tax Service for over 30 years, including Commissioner of NTS Daejeon Regional Office and the NTS Jungbu Regional Office, and 20th Commissioner of the National Tax Service, Mr. Kim built abundant experiences in the overall tax affairs including tax audit, tax resource management, support for legal affairs and protection of taxpayers, etc. In the course of his public career, he had many opportunities to work at various institutions other than the National Tax Service as well, such as the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, New York State Government, and the Presidential Secretariat, which helped him obtain a more comprehensive and logical perspective. After retiring from the public service, Mr. Kim served as a chair professor of Chungang University and advisor for the National Assembly Budget Office.
