Dong Sun Kim is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC.
Mr. Kim has held key positions in trade, investment, industry, and energy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, where he gained experience in multilateral negotiations such as the WTO and bilateral negotiations with the United States and China. Mr. Kim worked at the Korean Delegation to the OECD and the Korean Embassy in China, where he participated in negotiations for Korea's accession to the OECD and supported Korean companies to enter the Chinese market. He later served as a foreign investment specialist for the 17th Lee Myung-bak administration's acquisition committee and the first secretary of the presidential office for the knowledge economy, where he organized trade and investment promotion, industrial competitiveness enhancement, support for resource energy development, and export to the UAE nuclear power plant. He served as the 11th SME Commissioner and President of the SME Institute and was awarded the Order of Service Merit (Yellow Stripes) in late 2011.
