Dong Sun Kim is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Kim built in-depth expertise in trade, investment, industries, natural resources and energy, etc. while serving in various positions at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, etc., where he was involved in multilateral negotiations, e.g. WTO, and bilateral negotiations with the United States and China, etc. At the Korean Permanent Mission to the OECD and the Korean embassy in China, Mr. Kim participated in Korea’s negotiation to join the OECD, and supported Korean companies’ penetration of the markets in China, etc. He also led the country’s efforts for promotion of trade, investment, industrial competitiveness, development of energy resources, and exports of nuclear power plants to UAE, etc., as the commissioner of the foreign investment promotion task force of the presidential transition committee and the first secretary for knowledge economy of the presidential office. Mr. Kim also served as the 11th President of the Small and Medium Business Administration and the President of the Korea Small Business Institute, and received the Order of Service Merit (Yellow Stripes) at the end of 2011.
