Biography
Jongsang Lee is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice areas include corporate law and criminal defense.
After finishing his service in the army as a judicial officer, Mr. Lee worked as a prosecutor since 1995 at the Seoul District Prosecutors’ Office, Tongyeong Branch of Changwon District Prosecutors’’ Office, Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office, and Gwangju District Prosecutors’ Office. In 2002, he was dispatched to the Ministry of Justice as the Head of the Anti-Corruption international Conference Secretariat Office. Since practicing law in 2003, he joined LG Corp., the holding company of LG Group, where he served as the in-house general legal counsel for 11 years. From 2015 to 2022, Mr. Lee served as the head of the legal division and vice president of LG Electronics Co., Ltd. Since joining Yoon & Yang in 2022, he has been primarily handling matters for the Corporate Advisory Group and the Criminal Practice Group.
