Biography
Munjeong Kyung is a partner at Yoon & Yang, and her main practice areas include international arbitration · litigation, and international or domestic litigations regarding product liability, supply contracts and construction claims.
After obtaining her B.A. in linguistics at Seoul National University, Ms. Kyung worked at CJ, where she was in charge of global marketing and trading and built a global mindset and foreign language skills. After joining Yoon & Yang LLC, Ms. Kyung has dealt with a wide range of litigation cases in Korea and abroad, and based on such experience, she is achieving remarkable results in international arbitration practices and follow-up actions, e.g. recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, on behalf of many clients both in Korea and abroad. She is praised by clients for providing effective strategies to deal with various matters arising before and after international litigations and arbitrations.

- Represented a global manufacturer headquartered in the United States in the case seeking reimbursement related to suspension of operation of a power plant in Korea and prevailed in the entire claims (litigation cost: KRW 28.9 billion)
- Represented a U.S. manufacturer in KCAB’s international arbitration with a Korean insurance company regarding indemnification arising from a product defect and prevailed in the entire claims
- Represented a Korean company in SIAC’s international arbitration with a Chinese company regarding a supply contract and prevailed in the entire claims
