Biography
Jae Won Ji is a senior researcher at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice areas are privacy and data security. As a certified information systems security professional, he was in charge of data security management at Igloo Corporation.
Based on his expert knowledge in data security, Mr. Ji has provided relevant consulting services to a number of public agencies, financial companies and private organizations by identifying Common Weakness Enumeration that may occur in software development and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures that may occur in the application operation environment and conducting scenario-based Penetration Tests to come up with appropriate strategies.
Mr. Ji was a member of the CERT (Cyber Emergency Response Team) for analysis of causes of the cyberattacks on March 20 and June 25 of 2013, the hacking incident of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and other incidents involving information leakage or destruction of system, etc. He also conducted research on combination of big data / artificial intelligence technologies and data security and application of such combination to business.
