Biography
Do Ik Jung is a chief senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice area is antitrust & competition.
Mr. Jung served in the Investigation Department, Competition Department, Subcontract Transactions Department, and Audit and Inspector’s Office at the Korea Fair Trade Commission. From 1994 to 2007, he oversaw the investigation of conglomerates’ unreasonable internal transactions, cartels, abuse of market dominance, general unfair trade practices, and the violation of the Subcontract Act at the KFTC. At the Office of Enforcement Decree Management, Mr. Jung’s work involved the procedures of examination and ruling under the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act and the analysis of legal principles. Since June 2012, he has been working in the antitrust & competition practice group of Yoon & Yang providing advice regarding the Fair Trade Act, Framework Act on Consumers, Subcontract Act, Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act, Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, Labeling and Advertising Act, Door-to-Door Sales Act, Installment Transactions Act, Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Act on Fair Transactions in Large Franchise and Retail Business, and Fair Agency Transactions Act.
